Intro to Driving horses and refresher

This is an introduction to driving horses in a cart and buggy. This is a refresher for some that took a class earlier this year. Class will consist of basic grooming, harnessing, and driving horses. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Participants 16 and up

About the event
If you have ever been interested in learning how to drive a horse and carriage/cart/buggy, this is your opportunity to experience this right here in Deming! We will be using a couple of the horses at the Ranch to demonstrate how easy and fun it can be to harness up a horse and take it for a drive. This class is 2 hours, and is an introductory class for ages 16 and up. 16 & 17 year olds will need a waiver signed by parent or guardian. Donation is suggested. Any proceeds from the class go directly to support the non profit: Equine Safe Haven so that a disadvantaged person(s)can experience a drive also.
