Intro to Driving horses and refresher

This is an introduction to driving horses in a cart and buggy. This is a refresher for some that took a class earlier this year. Class will consist of basic grooming, harnessing, and driving horses. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Participants 16 and up $50

About the event
If you have ever been interested in learning how to drive a horse and carriage/cart/buggy, this is your opportunity to experience this right here in Deming! We will be using a couple of the horses at the Ranch to demonstrate how easy and fun it can be to harness up a horse and take it for a drive. This class is 2 hours, and is an introductory class for ages 16 and up. 16 & 17 year olds will need a waiver signed by parent or guardian. The class is $50 per person. A portion of the proceeds from the class go directly to support the non profit: Equine Safe Haven so that a disadvantaged person(s)can experience a drive also.
