Great American Duck Race Parade

We will need help getting both horses and the buggy into the trailer in the morning.  We plan on starting feeding, watering the other equines at by 7am, and have the trailer loaded by 8am-8:15am.  We will then head into Deming (about 25 min drive) to the staging area at Starmax.  We will try to find parking and space to unload.  Last year it was pretty busy so the team will need to handle multiple things going on at once including crowd control.  If you plan on helping us you will need to be at the Ranch by 8am to follow us into Deming...as it is too crowded to try to "find" our volunteers at the parade staging.

We will have Ronin driving the buggy, and Kona on the meadowbrook cart.  Drivers will switch as needed, to give everyone a chance to drive, but saftely will be our biggest concern, so if it is not safe, we will not switch up.  We will also have handlers walking next to the horses for crowd control and safety as needed.  

If you have made the practices you are welcome to join us in the parade as a walker, but you will still need to RSVP here.  You must have a costume as this is a team event.  

If you have not joined in our practices or meetings,  please consider joining for the Hatch Chile Parade instead as there is still time for you to join a practice.  For safety and insurace purposees, we cannot allow any  "riders" to be on the cart or buggy, or walking near the horses if you haven't taken any of the practices or the classes, sorry.
