Basic Horsemanship 101

This class will cover basics: safety, parts of the horse, equine first aid, common ailments and how to identify them, grooming, and feeding. This class is $40, but no cost to disadvantaged through Equine Safe Haven.  How to properly groom and use the grooming tools including picking the hooves.  Basics of what to feed your horse and what not to.  Safety lesson with handling your horse.  This is a discussion and hands on class.  You are assigned a horse at the beginning of the class to work with.
